So last Sunday (4th May) it was my 19th birthday. Nineteen to me is one of those ages that is not a big deal so a massive celebration is not really needed, instead I wanted a relaxing and fun weekend.
On the Saturday me and my younger sister went to Nottingham to see our elder sister for the weekend, she greeted me with balloons and cupcakes as she does every year without a doubt. We then spent the afternoon at our favourite cafe; Thea Cafeea, catching up and endlessly laughing. We continued our birthday tradition of going to the cinemas where we watched the hilarious chick flick 'The Other Woman' (a must see!). The rest of the evening was spent with my friends, we went to Turtle Bay for food then went to a couple of bars.
Waking up on my birthday with no hangover was a godsend as I had to be up early and meet my sisters for a birthday breakfast at Browns. The food was delicious and obviously well presented, I was also given a complementary cheesecake and champagne, which was lovely. After a filling brunch we went mini golfing, it was the first time I had done this and I had a great time despite finishing last! We then window shopped the afternoon away and surprisingly I didn't see anything I wanted, not even in Whistles! After a tiring day it was back home to a relaxed evening with the family watching movies and to enjoy the rest of the bank holiday weekend.
Hope you all had a lovely long weekend.
