Christmas Season

No one does Christmas quite like London! The extravagant window displays, the lights,  mulled wine and mince pies at Covent Garden and of course Winter Wonderland!

As a birthday treat, my sisters and I went to see Wicked at Apollo! One word: Amaaaazing! I think it's safe to say that going to the theatre will become a new Christmas tradition. I don't know what it is but there is something christmassy about going to the theatre in December and this year it really helped me forget about my stress and allowed me to enjoy myself for a couple of hours. Once the show had finished we spent the evening driving around London to take in all the lights and visited the Nelson Mandela Statue. We were treated to dinner at my favourite noodle restaurant, Hare and Tortoise. We ended the night with snuggles, a large cup of tea and the movie ‘UP’ at my uncles apartment. (No hotel can beat his service)

The following day my uncle treated us to breakfast at his favourite place, The Barbican. A seriously really cool place! My sisters and I then continued with our plans and headed to Oxford street for some shopping! We were indulgent to say the very least. A few hours later, and a lighter purse, we headed to  Harrods and Selfridges to gaze at the beautiful window displays and of course the toy section! We also managed to walk around Winter Wonderland where we enjoyed a traditional hotdog. We took  a spontaneous trip to Solane Square, my most favourite place ever. Where everyone is dressed impeccably, not a single hair out of place, fancy cars everywhere you look and a array of designer outlets from Chanel to Burberry, what's not to love! After a jam packed day and a 3 hour train journey home, getting into bed was a great feeling. I am definitely feeling the christmas spirit now!

UNI

Freshers week. What a week. My feet have never hurt so much, my liver has never felt more damaged, I have a serious case of dark circles under my eyes, a constant ringing in my ear, a voice which confuses people as to what gender I am, it's safe to say I have earned my freshers flu. If I could though, I'd do it all over again. Bring on the year ahead!
