The Grey Jumper

I have an unhealthy obsession with this jumper, ever since I purchased it in the zara sale last season I have been wearing it non stop. It is unbelievably soft and so versatile! This is an item I would definitely stock up on if it was still available!

Everyday Jewellery

Nixon Divy Watch
Black Wide Links bracelet
Turquoise bracelet given as a gift
Green bracelet from Stratford markets
Midi rings- Nottingham markets & H&M
Vicki Marks turquoise ring
Silver ankle bracelet-India markets

I’m very particular when it comes to jewellery, I am not one to raid the high street stores for overpriced pieces. I love my jewellery to be sliver, simple and delicate. I am never without my Nixon watch, my rings and Links bracelet! I’m all about the detail, my favourite store to buy my jewellery is fashionology, I also love going to markets and vintage shops. There is a great little store hidden away in Nottingham which is beyond amazing! I recently bought a load of ankle bracelets from my trip to India which I loveee wearing!

The best of Coachella

Vanessa Hudgens, Whitney Port, Sienna Miller & Poppy Delevingne and Kate Bosworth.

These are a few of my favourite looks from the 2014 Coachella festival. Obviously had to have K.Bosworth amongst my favourites because somehow she manages to do Coachella festival style perfectly every year.

Casual.

Casual.

This is my style in a nutshell, I’m all about simplicity, subtle detail and comfort! You know you’re obsessed with basics when you would rather spend £80 on a plain tee rather than on an evening outfit. Call me boring!

Spring Scents

Giorgio Armani Si (100ml- £60)
It is obvious from the size of this fragrance that it is my favourite scent, not just for the spring but all year round. I despise strong muscular smells as I feel it gives me a headache, I prefer soft, floral and girly fragrances that instantly make me feel more feminine. This fragrance is perfect as it includes hints of blackcurrant, freesia, rose and vanilla that's why I had to invest in a larger size. On the downside the larger the bottle means the more $$$, so whilst in duty free on my trip to India I had to purchase this as it was £20 cheaper!

Diptyque Eau De Lierre (50ml- £55)
I don't know what it is about this scent but I'm a bit in love. Although the ingredients are not something I would usually wear, (ivy / tomato leaf) it has that soft, natural smell about it which makes me feel like I'm surrounded by fresh cut grass. If you like soft and natural smells this is definitely perfect for you.

Jo Malone French Lime Blossom (30ml- £39)
J.Malone how I wish I could own all of your scents! I love her cologne collection, every scent is unique and they all give me that feeling of luxury and freshness. Especially French Lime Blossom, it reminds me of a high end French soap, it is very unique, calm, summery and fresh. As it is quite deer for a small bottle I only wear this scent for special occasions but if you have the money to spend I recommend the 50ml as the 30ml goes too quickly!

Jo Malone Pomegrante Noir (30ml- £39)
I was given this cologne as a gift from friends and although I'm not a fan of rich smells this fragrance is not too bad. It has a strong scent of pomegranate with hints of berries and fruits and I believe it's more suitable for the evenings as I like to wear delicate fragrances during the day. If you're into dark and musky smells this is the best one to get out of the collection!

Rituals Blossom Water Cherry Blossom Body Mist (50ml- £16.50)
OMG this is probably the best item I've ever brought in my life, I swear by it. Since discovering the Rituals collection last year I haven't used any other body mist as this scent is perfect for any occasion. What I love about this mist is it's so light, lasts for a long time and feels like your natural sweet scent which is every females dream! I'm even tempted to buy the whole set which includes body lotions and gels.

Travel Essentials

I dislike packing as it means having to pick and choose the items you NEED to take with you and not WANT. Anywhere I go I have a tendency to bring along my whole life so choosing what my essentials would be for my India trip was tricky to say the least. I narrowed my ‘essentials’ down to 13 items, most of these items did not leave my side for the entire trip / journey.

  1. My oversized - and overwork - Zara black scarf
  2. Reiss coral purse - purely because I love it
  3. Black Whistles wallet - perfect size for my tickets and passport
  4. Nixon Divy watch - because it never leaves my wrist
  5. Apple iPad - my pride and joy
  6. Headphones - no explanation required
  7. Paperchase notepad & pen - ‘my efforts to document my journey’
  8. Reading books - to help with the 5 hour stop offs in Tashkent
  9. Nars duo concealer custard/ ginger - because I’m a girl
  10. Blistex lip cream - to aid my sore lips!
  11. Clinique moisture surge - airplane saviour
  12. YSL Rouge Volupte Shine Corail Incandescent - summer in a tube
  13. Sony NEX-3N camera - duhhh!

INDIA

I’m back and I’m coming at you with a very long post about my time away. Being in constant relaxation mode and having the sun beaming all day certainly did me some good! The past month was just what I needed; I had time to clear my head, gain some independence and really got to explore the culture that surrounded me. India is a beautiful country and I hope that when I return I can spend some time exploring cities like Goa, Agra, and Jaipur. Anyway, I’m now back in the UK and trying to get a hold of my life. Being the organised and active person that I am, within a few hours of being back home I had unpacked, freshened up and started to plan my next steps. Since being home I have managed to secure a few interviews with different firms who offer apprenticeships, I am hoping to gain a place so that I can obtain some invaluable experience and strengthen my professional skills. I have also managed to gain a place on a local charities volunteering scheme and will be spending my weekends helping out the local community. In addition to this, mission get my abs back is on track, I’ve re-joined my local gym and I'm feeling fit already! In all, I’m feeling pretty happy and excited about the future. Below are a few snaps of my time in India! Enjoy.
