Having an interest in Fashion but not having watched The September Issue cannot be a fashion crime surely? Yes, I shamelessly admit that I have never watched the documentary feature film until last night and the only reason I was tempted was because of the captivating Grace Coddington (GC). Model turned Creative Director of Vogue captured my heart whilst reading her memoir, she has an unbelievable creative eye and the movie really emphasised what a great person she is.
‘The September Issue’ provided us an insight into the behind scenes of the office and the daily actions of America’s Vogue dream team during their biggest issue. I was completely in awe seeing GC in action and to see her visuals come to life was mesmerising. She may be persistent in her work but when surrounded by colleagues, designers and others she appears so gracious and pleasant.
